“We will continue to advance our bilateral agenda with Morocco, a country with which we must pursue our collaboration in the spirit of friendship and cooperation governing our special neighborly relations,” said the Spanish Sovereign in a speech at the 9th conference of Spanish ambassadors accredited abroad (January 13 and 14).
The Spanish monarch also emphasized the importance of strategic alliances in Spanish foreign policy, within forums such as the 5+5 dialogue and the Union for the Mediterranean (UfM).
He noted that these alliances play a key role in strengthening regional cooperation, and offer concerted solutions to common challenges.
The King of Spain also stressed the need to boost cooperation with Africa, welcoming in this respect the new Spain-Africa Strategy 2025-2028, which he described as a clear roadmap towards this goal.
