Amman, May 21 (Petra) — Pleasant and relatively mild weather
conditions are prevailing across most regions on Thursday, with more
stable and sunnier conditions expected through the weekend, according
to the Jordan Meteorological Department.

Temperatures to drop slightly on Thursday, bringing mild conditions
to most parts of the country, while moderate weather continues in the
Jordan Valley, the Dead Sea, and Aqaba.

Low clouds are expected intermittently, with a slight chance of light
morning showers in northern regions. Westerly winds are forecast to
blow at moderate speeds, becoming active at times and occasionally
raising dust, particularly in Badia areas.

The Meteorological Department warned of reduced horizontal visibility
during the early morning hours due to fog formation over high
mountainous areas. It also cautioned against intermittent
dust-related visibility reductions in desert regions.

A slight rise in temperatures is expected on Friday, although
pleasant conditions are forecast to persist across most regions,
while moderate weather continues in low-lying areas. Some low clouds
are expected over northern and central regions, with northwesterly
winds remaining moderate.

More stable conditions are forecast for Saturday and Sunday, with
mostly sunny and moderate weather prevailing across most regions,
while relatively hot conditions continue in the Jordan Valley, the
Dead Sea, and Aqaba. Northwesterly winds are expected to remain
moderate and occasionally active.

Temperature ranges on Thursday reflect the prevailing mild pattern,
with East Amman forecast between 22 C and 12 C, and West Amman
between 20 C and 10 C. Northern highlands will record 18 C to 8 C,
while the Sharah highlands range between 20 C and 9 C.

In the Badia, temperatures are expected between 26 C and 13 C, and in
the plains between 23 C and 12 C. The northern Jordan Valley is
forecast at 29 C to 16 C, rising to 33 C to 18 C in the southern
valley. The Dead Sea will record 32 C to 17 C, while Aqaba reaches 33
C to 20 C.
