Amman, May 25 (Petra)– Temperatures across the Kingdom on Monday are
expected to remain mild in most regions, while relatively hot
conditions will prevail in the Jordan Valley, the Dead Sea and Aqaba,
according to the Jordan Meteorological Department (JMD).

Low clouds are expected to appear at lower altitudes, with moderate
northwesterly winds becoming active at times.

The department said temperatures will rise slightly on Tuesday,
bringing moderate weather to most parts of the Kingdom and relatively
hot conditions in the Jordan Valley, the Dead Sea and Aqaba.
High-altitude clouds are also forecast, while northwesterly to
northeasterly winds are expected to remain moderate, occasionally
becoming active.

Another slight increase in temperatures is forecast for Wednesday,
with temperatures reaching seasonal averages for this time of year.
Weather conditions will remain generally moderate across most regions
and hot in the Jordan Valley, the Dead Sea and Aqaba.

Moderate northwesterly to northeasterly winds are expected, with
occasional dust-raising activity, particularly in desert areas.

On Thursday, temperatures are expected to drop again, bringing
pleasant weather to most regions and relatively hot conditions in the
Jordan Valley, the Dead Sea and Aqaba. Low clouds are forecast to
reappear, while moderate northwesterly winds may become active at
times, stirring dust in desert regions.

Temperatures in the capital Amman will range between a high of 24
degrees Celsius, and a low of 12 degrees.

Highs in port city of Aqaba will reach 36 degrees during the day,
sliding to 19 degrees at night.
