Khartoum, January 25, 2026 (SUNA) — The Microland Training Center is set to organize the Microland Conference on Drones for Security, Safety, and Technology under the theme “From Ground to Sky… Innovations That Change the Face of the World.”The conference will be held under the patronage of Minister of Youth and Sports Professor Ahmed Adam, with the participation of Secretary-General of the Higher Council for Strategy and Information of Khartoum State Dr. Issam Bitran.Scheduled to take place from January 27 to 29, the conference will be hosted via the center’s online platform.The event targets researchers and academics in the fields of aviation, engineering, and artificial intelligence, alongside entrepreneurs, investors, military personnel, as well as companies and institutions operating in smart agriculture, surveying, and energy.Discussions will focus on a number of key research themes structured around four main tracks: the civil track, the military and security track, the industrial and developmental track, and the research and academic track.The conference is expected to enhance cooperation and integration between the civilian and military sectors, supporting development efforts and the effective use of modern technologies in the fields of security, safety, and development.BH/BH
