In a statement released Tuesday by the French Ministry for Europe and Foreign Affairs following their meeting in Paris, the two ministers “expressed their satisfaction with the unprecedented dynamism of the Franco-Moroccan bilateral relationship,” for which “a new chapter” has begun, as described during the meeting between the President of the French Republic and His Majesty King Mohammed VI in October 2024.
In this context, both ministers reaffirmed their countries’ determination to strengthen, preserve, and defend the “enhanced exceptional partnership” launched during the French President’s state visit to Morocco at the invitation of His Majesty the King, the statement noted.
The two ministers “reviewed the implementation of this partnership across all areas and agreed to continue deepening it, sustained notably by numerous reciprocal visits and the execution of the many agreements signed on that occasion”, according to the same source.
