Oman Winds Up Participation in Special Olympics World Winter

Turin, 16 Mar
(ONA) — The Sultanate of Oman concluded its participation in the Special
Olympics World Winter Games, “Turin 2025”, in the Republic of Italy. During
the tournament, Oman won seven different medals—1 gold medal, 2 silver medals
and 4 bronze medals.

The gold medal was won by Hossam Nasser Al Amri, in the 300-metre
speed skating event.

One of the two silver medals was won by Hossam Nasser Al
Amri—in the 200-metre speed skating event—and the other was won by Al Barraa Malik
Al Battashi, in the 100-metre cross-country event.

Out of the four bronze medals, Retaj Sultan Al Salmi won 2
bronze medals in the 200-metre and 100-metre speed skating events, while 1 bronze was won by Al Baraa Malik
Al Battashi in the cross-country skating event and 1 bronze was won by Amira Abdulaziz
Al Raisi in the 100-metre snow running event.
