London, February 22 (QNA) – Arsenal secured a 4-1 victory over Tottenham on Sunday in their Matchday 27 fixture of the English Premier League.
Arsenal’s four-goal haul came courtesy of braces from Eberechi Eze (32′, 61′) and Viktor Gyokeres (47′, 90+4′). Tottenham’s lone goal was scored by Randal Kolo Muani in the 34th minute.
With this win, Arsenal bolsters its position at the summit of the table with 61 points, while Tottenham remains on 29 points in 16th place.
In another match during the same round, defending champions Liverpool defeated Nottingham Forest 1-0. Alexis Mac Allister secured the win with a goal in the seventh minute of stoppage time (90+7′), bringing his team’s tally to 45 points in sixth place. Nottingham Forest remains in 17th place with 27 points.
