Doha, February 27 (QNA) – HE Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Jassim Al-Thani received a phone call on Friday from HE Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Islamic Republic of Iran Dr. Abbas Araghchi.
During the call, they discussed the results of the third round of negotiations between the United States of America and the Islamic Republic of Iran, which were held in Geneva, Switzerland, and affirmed the continuation of negotiations between the two sides.
HE the Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs reiterated, during the call, the State of Qatar’s support for all efforts aimed at reducing tensions and achieving peaceful solutions, thereby enhancing security and stability in the region.
His Excellency emphasized the necessity of concerted efforts to spare the peoples of the region the consequences of escalation and the importance of continued coordination with brotherly and friendly countries to overcome differences through diplomatic means. (QNA)
