Khartoum, March 28, 2026 (SUNA) – Prime Minister Dr. Kamil Idris directed that no new fees or taxes be imposed at border crossings, instructing all relevant authorities to implement the decision with immediate effect.The directive covers the Ministry of Finance, customs, taxation authorities, state governments, and border administration bodies.The Prime Minister also urged citizens not to comply with any additional or unauthorized charges, stating: “Such fees have impoverished citizens without benefiting the state.”BH/BH
