Khartoum, March 5, 2026 (SUNA) – Prime Minister Dr. Kamil Idris made a telephone call today with Prime Minister of the State of Kuwait, Sheikh Ahmad Abdullah Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah, during which he inquired about the situation in Kuwait following the Iranian attacks on Kuwaiti territory.For his part, the Kuwaiti Prime Minister expressed his sincere appreciation and gratitude to Sudan, government and people, for the supportive stance.Dr. Kamil Idris reaffirmed Sudan’s full support and solidarity with the State of Kuwait—its Amir, government, and people—in defending Kuwait’s sovereignty and security, stressing that the attack constitutes a violation of international law and the United Nations Charter.He also expressed his wishes for continued security and prosperity for the brotherly State of Kuwait.BH/BH
