Moscow, May 18 (Petra) — Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov on
Monday affirmed that his country does not seek to interfere in the
ongoing negotiating process and talks between the United States and
Iran.
Speaking during a press conference, Lavrov stated that Russia is not
attempting to intervene in this negotiating process but rather wishes
success for the mechanism and the efforts aimed at reaching an
understanding between the concerned parties to restore stability to
the Middle East region.
He added that Moscow will support any settlements directly agreed
upon and accepted by the negotiating parties themselves, which in
this case involves the United States and the Islamic Republic of
Iran.
