Amman, May 25 (Petra)– The Ministry of Tourism and Antiquities has
launched a special Eid Al-Adha events program featuring a wide range
of artistic, cultural and entertainment activities at tourist and
archaeological sites across Jordan’s governorates, aiming to boost
domestic tourism and provide festive experiences for families and
visitors during the holiday.
In a statement issued on Tuesday, the ministry announced that more
than 50 artistic, entertainment and heritage events will be held on
the second and third days of Eid Al-Adha, from 7 p.m. until midnight,
at several tourist and archaeological locations throughout the
Kingdom.
The ministry also said it has raised its operational and field
readiness levels at various tourist and heritage sites in preparation
for the holiday, as part of a comprehensive plan implemented in
cooperation with relevant authorities to ensure the availability of
services and provide a safe and comfortable tourism experience for
citizens and visitors.
Meanwhile, the ministry will continue operating the “Urdunna Jannah”
(Jordan Our Paradise) program during the Eid holiday, with trips
scheduled to begin on the second day of Eid. The program offers a
variety of promotional packages and discounted rates, enabling
citizens to visit numerous tourist and archaeological destinations
across the Kingdom.
