Port Sudan, Jan. 16, 2026 (SUNA) – Transitional Sovereignty Council (TSC) Member Abdullah Yahia praised the Armed Forces, Joint Force, Supporting Units, and Mobilized Personnel for their heroism and battlefield victories, affirming that military operations continue on multiple fronts.Yahia also commended the Committee for Normalizing Conditions in Khartoum, chaired by TSC Member Lt. Gen. Ibrahim Jabir, for accelerating the restoration of services and facilitating citizens’ return.Following a recent visit to the capital, Khartoum, he cited tangible progress toward stability and reconstruction. On infrastructure, Yahia urged reliance on qualified national companies to repair key bridges, including Shambat and Halfaya, stressing that success depends on resolve and effective implementation rather than resources.He underscored Sudan’s capacity for reconstruction, citing rapid project delivery by national firms, and reaffirmed that losses have only strengthened determination to restore stability and end citizens’ suffering.FA/BH
