Member of the Transitional Sovereignty Council (TSC), Dr. Nuwara Abu Mohammed emphasized the state’s commitment to supporting social and economic development through local competencies in Suakin, a key area contributing to Sudan’s national economy and serving as a gateway abroad.During her visit to Othman Digna Port, she praised staff efforts in serving citizens, observed passenger and export vessels, and called on port administration to facilitate the entry of humanitarian aid following legal procedures.Port Director of Port Captain Taha Ahmed Mukhtar stated that the port supports pilgrims traveling to and from Saudi Arabia and facilitates trade and exports, contributing to the national economy.
