Khartoum, March 8, 2026 (SUNA) – President of the Transitional Sovereignty Council (TSC) and Commander-in-Chief of the Sudanese Armed Forces (SAF) General Abdel Fattah Al-Burhan met on Sunday with Musa Hilal, Head of the Revolutionary Awakening Council, in the presence of Darfur Region Governor Minni Arko Minnawi.During the meeting, the TSC President paid tribute to the martyrs of the Mustariha area who confronted the militia’s attack and sacrificed their lives for the dignity and honor of the nation.The meeting also discussed the situation in North Darfur State and the violations committed against civilians in the Mustariha area by the Dagalo militia.Al-Burhan affirmed that the Sudanese Armed Forces will continue their operations until the rebellion is eliminated and security and stability are restored across the country.The TSC President also praised the broad public support for the Sudanese Armed Forces, describing them as the shield safeguarding the nation’s security and stability.BH/BH
