Port Sudan, 11 January 2026 (SUNA) – Vice-President of the Transitional Sovereignty Council (TSC) Malik Agar met today at his office with the Secretary-General of the South Kordofan Reconstruction Fund, Sir-Al-Khatim Abdel-Rahim Toto.TSC Vice-President affirmed the government’s commitment to providing the necessary support for the establishment of the fund to achieve its intended objectives.The Secretary-General of the fund told reporters that the meeting is part of the government’s extensive efforts to operationalize the fund, including providing support and establishing a permanent headquarters in the eastern area of the state, considered the most secure and stable area. This will enable the fund to identify the projects it seeks to implement and gather information directly from the field.BH/BH
