Kyiv, October 17 (QNA) – At least 15 people, including three children, have been injured in Russian missile strikes targeting the northeastern Ukrainian city of Kharkiv, Ukraine’s State Emergency Service said.
One of the strikes hit a warehouse in the city’s Nemyshlianskyi district, sparking a fire that spread across an area of 100 square meters, the agency said in a statement.
The bombardment also damaged several multi-storey residential buildings and other nearby facilities. Emergency crews brought four separate fires under control, according to the statement.
The latest attack comes as Russia and Ukraine continue to exchange strikes amid the war that began in February 2022, with no comprehensive political settlement reached to end the conflict. (QNA)
