UN Warns Aid Stocks Running out in Gaza

UN Warns Aid Stocks Running out in GazaNew York, 13 Mar (QNA) — The UN Under-Secretary-General for
Humanitarian Affairs and Emergency Relief Coordinator Tom Fletcher
warned that supplies of aid are at risk of running out in Gaza as
Israeli entity blocks deliveries to the enclave.

“In those six weeks, we made massive progress in feeding many of
those millions who needed the food, getting medicine in, starting to
get those hospitals back up and running. We opened several new wells
while I was there. So all of that was making a massive difference,”
Fletcher said in a press conference.

“Eleven days is already too long to prevent aid reaching
civilians who so badly need it,” said Fletcher.

“The supplies are clearly running out very, very fast,” he asserted.

“The fact that we’re not getting fuel in means that incubators
are being switched off,” said Fletcher, adding that Gaza will quickly
become a humanitarian crisis again.

The Israeli occupation announced, on 2 March 2025, the cessation
of humanitarian aid entering the Gaza Strip and the closure of the
crossings “until further notice.”— Ends/Khalid
