Amman, Sept. 15 (Petra) – The University of Jordan (JU) and the
Jordan Press Association (JPA) signed a deal on Tuesday granting
members a 25 percent discount on care at the university’s hospital.
Eligible JPA members, under the agreement, will receive the discount
on healthcare bills at the university hospital, subject to approved
hospital regulations.
JU President Nathir Obeidat and JPA President Tareq Momani signed the
pact.
Obeidat noted the agreement advances the university’s mission to
partner with national institutions and serve the public.
Momani, for his part, thanked the university, stating that the
discount adds to the growing range of services and benefits offered
to journalists and their families.
