Al-Damer, Jan. 28, 2026 (SUNA) – The Wali of River Nile State, Dr. Mohamed Al-Badawi Abdel-Majid Abugron, together with members of his government, received the Federal Minister of Culture, Information, Tourism and Antiquities, Khalid Al-Eisir, at the Atbara Land Port. The minister is visiting the state to take part in the Cultural Evening held in honour of the “Made in River Nile” Forum at the Heritage Hall accompanying the forum.The minister arrived in Al-Damer on Wednesday evening on a several-day visit to River Nile State. He was received in Al-Damer by the State’s Minister of Culture, Information and Communications, Mustafa Al-Sharif.The two sides discussed a number of issues of mutual interest.The State’s Minister of Culture and Information welcomed the federal minister’s visit, noting the state’s readiness and willingness to cooperate with the federal ministry to advance and develop media work at both the state and national levels.The cultural programme included a number of national songs and enthusiastic anthems that were well received by the audience.
